Actor Bio
Michael James Thomas Barlow was born in Texas and raised in Colorado. He discovered his love of performing at the age of four while dancing in his first recital on what he called “the high stage”.
While growing up, Michael performed regularly with local theatre companies and in many school productions. Acting has always been his passion, and it was never a question that it would one day become a career pursuit.
Michael completed his academic training at Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle where he earned a BFA in Theater with an emphasis in acting.
His professional debut in film and television came in 2012 when he was cast as both a Walker and Stand-In for the Governor on The Walking Dead for several seasons. His first screen role came later with a casting in the short film Pride of Indiana.
Some of Michael’s notable roles include Young Clyde (Bonnie and Clyde: The Musical), Matt (The Fantasticks), Ed (Evil Dead: The Musical), and various ensemble roles (including several characters and fourteen costume changes in a single production of Priscilla: Queen of the Desert).
When Michael has down-time, he enjoys reading, spending time with family and friends, pilates, and baking (preferably with chocolate).
